Meet your neighbor Lauren Gittings of Stronghurst.
Lauren is the daughter of Ron and Shelly Gittings, and grew up in Lomax until her family moved to Stronghurst when she was in high school.
Lauren attended Southern High School and is a 2005 graduate.
In high school Lauren was a part of Spanish Club, SAE (Student Action for Education), and President of the National Honors Society. She was a class officer and gave the Honors Address at graduation. Lauren also played high school basketball, volleyball, and softball.
Now Lauren attends Southeastern Community College, and will be getting her Associates in Arts Degree. She then plans on going into the Nursing Program.
She enjoys watching her boyfriend Andy play football at West Central and admits to being a "Packer" fan.
In her spare time she watches the TV show "Gilmore Girls," enjoys reading and horseback riding, helping her sister Jessica with wedding plans, and she says her job working at Jo Jo's Korner is the best job in the world.
