Mrs. Myers and Mrs. Hitz third grade classes have been studying the olden days.
For Thanksgiving the students made horn books and painted them with the quill pens that they had also made.
They played old fashion school. During this time they had to stand to speak, say yes and no mam, and say please and thank you.
The teachers also walked around the classroom tapping their rulers in the palm of their hands.
On Wednesday the students dressed up as pilgrims and wore the hats that they had made in class.
