Betty Hays, of Tennessee, vacationed with Stronghurst area friends, Darlene Tatge, Ralph Tatge, Mary Margaret Day and Carol Myers. They took the Quill along when they visited Gatlinburg, Tennessee.
The girls are all Stronghurst High School "Class of 49" classmates.
