Meet Your Neighbor Mary Ann Johnson, born in Macomb and raised in Blandinsville.
She graduated from Northwestern High School and was married in 1968 to Roger Johnson.They met on a blind date that was set up by Roger and Carol Hobby.
They now live outside of La Harpe on a farm that they have worked together for 34 years.
They have three children, Tim (Jocelyn), Christy, and Ryan.
She also has eight grandchildren, Abby and Aden Johnson, Hannah and Hayden Fox, and Emily, Molly, Matthew, and Lucas Johnson.
Mary Ann works at the La Harpe Telephone Company two days a week as a bookkeeper as well as still helping on the farm.
She attends the Terre Haute United Methodist Church and is very active in the church.
She also hosts the annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Sister's in Christ at her home each year.
(Remember "sisters" that is the second Monday of each month.)
In her free time she enjoys reading, working in her flower garden, and spending time with her grandchildren.
