WC Girls Win LTC Conference

The West Central Girls Track team won the Lincoln Trail Conference meet Friday night on strong performances from Theresa Brokaw, Brandie Lindo, Rachele Jack, Ciara Robinson, Laura Hoover, Miriam Rutzen, Lindsey Dilsaver, Melissa Westfall, Katie Cole, Katriel Dean and Amber Mann.

The girls edged Kewanee Wethersfield by one-half point, 113.5 to 113.

The deciding race was the 4x400m relay, where Theresa Brokaw, Miriam Rutzen, Brandie Lindo and Rachele Jack took first and set a new conference record time of 4:19.1 in the process.
