West Central High School would like to invite family and friends to attend their first Induction Ceremony for the West Central Chapter of the National Honor Society on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the high school gymnasium. Everyone is invited to the reception following the ceremony.
To be eligible for membership consideration, students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 percent. Additionally, potential members must meet high standards of leadership, service, and character. The Faculty Council evaluated qualified members of the sophomore, junior, and senior classes.
Leadership is based on the student's participation in community and school activities, or election to an office. To meet the service requirement, the student must have been active in service projects in the school and community. Character is measured in terms of integrity, behavior, ethics, and cooperation with both students and faculty.
