Meet Your Neighbor

Meet your neighbor Earl Waller of Raritan. Earl was born in Avon and raised in Swan Creek attending school in Roseville. He graduated from Roseville High School in 1973. He is married to Dee Ann Overstreet who works at Security Savings Bank in Stronghurst.

They have two sons, Shane, a truck driver of Burlington, Iowa who is married to Susan (Larson) and their 3 year old son; and Bill who is in his last year at DeVrie University in Chicago majoring in Computer Communications.

Earl and Dee owned the Waller Bus Service which they sold in 2001. He is the Highway Commissioner for Raritan Township and one of four Fire Chiefs for Raritan, and cochairs the Raritan Sesquicentennial Committee.

He loves visiting his grandson, enjoys singing when no one is around, loves doing things for the community and for others. He has been a member of the Raritan Fire Department 32 years and has just taken a computer course with the State Fire Marshal on sending fire reports via the Internet.

He is a Mason at the Masonic Lodge of Roseville and member of the Raritan Baptist Church. He loves to golf and he loves football.
