Mayor McKinney reported Mick Albin would not accept partial payment from the village on a water pump and that Albin is having his attorney look into the matter.
Rheinschmidts from Burlington, IA has been asked to give an estimate for replacing the tile at the Community Building.
Tim Kay was allowed time for making improvements on his abandoned house on Locust Street.
A motion was passed to have the attorney send a letter to Wells Fargo regarding the need for property cleanup at 113 E. Locust before the upcoming auction.
A motion was passed to have the attorney place a lien on the property at 113 E. Locust Street due to an outstanding water bill.
Members voted unanimously for Tom Morrison to get a new cell phone at U. S. Cellular.
June 12, 2006 meeting
Jim Hetrick served as mayor pro tem, in the absent of Rex McKinney.
The village will donate $1,000 to the Gladstone Little League for repairs and team equipment.
A motion was passed to limit lawn watering to Tuesdays and Saturdays only. Violators will have their water turned off by the village.
