Raritan Prairie Fire Christmas

On December 17th the Raritan Opera House was the site for the last Raritan Sesquicentennial program.

A Christmas program of old favorite carols and stories behind Christmas traditions was presented by Brian "Fox" Ellis, Barry Cloyd, Susie and Charlie Brown.

The choir of the Raritan Baptist Church sang several songs and joined the Prairie Christmas group on the stage and led those in attendance in the sing-a-longs. The program was partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, and the Two Rivers Arts Council.

The program was a new year's celebration to all from the Raritan Sesquicentennial Committee, ending their year long of celebration.
