Meet Your Neighbor Patti (Eckley) Cook of Biggsville. Patti is currently a substitute teacher in the West Central School District while also being bookkeeper for Cook Construction, cabinet designer and sales representative for Fieldstone Cabinetry. She was born in Monmouth and raised in Biggsville, where their family now resides. Patti is a 1979 graduate of Union High School, Biggsville and a 1984 graduate of Monmouth College with a major in Elementary Education and minors in Sociology and Psychology. She is married to Terry who owns Cook Construction in Biggsville. They are the proud parents of two sons, Adam 18, and Michael 16. Patti's parents are John and Peggy Eckley who enjoy spending their winters in Florida and summers in Oquawka. She has 4 brothers, John David, George Keller, Stephen Thomas and Robert Ralph. The Cooks are members of Harmony Bible Church in Danville, IA where the family is involved in several areas of serving. Patti enjoys gardening, canoeing, reading, volunteering at Oak Lane Nursing Home in Stronghurst, with her son Michael, (where Terry's grandma, Happy Cook, is a patient), and spending time with friends. |
