Meet Your Neighbor Sherry McKune, a hairstylist in Oquawka for 14 years.
Sherry has owned and managed her own salon, "Hair To Please" for 6 years.
She was born in Monmouth and raised in Oquawka.
She graduated in 1988 from Union High School, Biggsville, and received her degree in cosmetology from the Institute of Cosmetology Arts in Burlington, Iowa.
She is married to Dan and they have two children, Shafer, 11, and in the 5th grade at West Central Grade School and a daughter, Danyel, 6 and in first grade at West Central. She and Dan have lived all their married life in Oquawka.
Sherry enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside and attending her children's sporting events. Her hobby is exercising and working out.
