Meet your neighbor Brenda Vancil, raised in Oquawka, the daughter of Sheryl and Gary Young.
Brenda has one sister Amy (Ray) McIntire who is a Special Education Aid at West Central.
Brenda graduated from Union in 1995 and received her Associates Degree at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, Iowa and her B.S. Degree in Law Enforcement at Western Illinois University.
She is married to Eric Vancil who works weekends at Wal-Mart Warehouse in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and helped coach La Harpe baseball this past year.
Brenda works part time at Vista Bakery in Burlington, Iowa and also works as a Clerk in the County Assessor's office.
She enjoys attending rodeos, fishing, and family get-togethers and was looking forward to the Gladstone Homecoming pageant which her daughter was to take part in.
She is a Cardinal fan and Eric is a Cub fan.
