The La Harpe City Council passed the motion to donate $2,500 to the La Harpe Davier Extended Care Facility to be used to help reach their goal during their difficult financial times.
The council discussed the portion of the Johnson Land property that is leased for hunting purposes.
One child swing and one baby swing will be replaced at both the city park and the reservoir.
The personnel code for the city employees will be reevaluated and updated due to many changes over the years.
A meeting for the new budget will be held on May 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the city hall.
Those answering roll were: Irish, Lovell, Helmers, Bennett, Burford, Carpenter, Neff, Stevens, and Brown. The Council adjourned at 7:52 p.m. The next meeting will be held at the city hall on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
