The Hancock-Henderson Quill, Inc.
The Annual Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt took place Saturday, April 8th in the Stronghurst Village Park.
At 1 p.m. around 130 kids were eagerly waiting to hunt eggs.
In addition to the 1500 plus colorful eggs and prizes inside, the children found bubbles, bags of chips, candy, animal crackers, and pinwheels.
Each child present received a miniature stuffed bunny and a cross necklace. One lucky winner in each of the four age groups won a large stuffed bunny or yellow duck.
The day was beautiful as was the park which was cleaned by Tony Anderson and Scott Ford. We look forward to seeing everyone next year.
The Community Easter Egg Hunt was sponsored by the Stronghurst Lions Club and the Bank of Stronghurst.
Also helping with the egg hunt was the Christian Church, Lutheran Church, Methodist Church and Presbyterian Church.
