Meet your neighbor Jean Livermore of Raritan. She was born in the Burlington Hospital and raised in Raritan, the daughter of June and the late Max Livermore.
Jean is a Southern graduate of the class of 1976 and is employed at Western Illinois University as a collection specialist in billing and receivables, a job she has had for 26 years.
Jean also works evenings part time at Riverland FS in Stronghurst where she makes pizzas and sandwiches.
She enjoys crafts and attends shows and festivals selllig Watkins, Gold Canyon Candles, Homemade Gourmet, Heart Warming Creations and McNess.
She is Secretary of the Raritan Sesquicentennial Committee.
She says she loves living in Raritan and enjoys the small town friendliness there.
"The people work together to better the community," she said.
